Gypsum-based putty powder is mainly composed of hemihydrate gypsum (building gypsum) as the main inorganic gel material, with heavy calcium, lime calcium, and then with re-dispersible polymer powder, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and other chemical additives, which are mixed according to scientific formula. Gypsum-based putty powder has the characteristics of strong adhesion, good leveling and lime filling performance, high strength, small deformation coefficient, stability and non-cracking. Because of the properties of gypsum itself, gypsum-based putty powder can play a good sound insulation, breathing and humidity regulating function. Gypsum-based putty powder is generally used in leveling construction of the bottom of the wall. In some area, gypsum-based putty is also called leveling gypsum, leveling cornered gypsum, water gypsum and so on.

Lime based putty powder is mainly composed of powder lime as inorganic gel material, heavy calcium as filler, re-dispersible polymer powder, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and other  additives, which are mixed according to scientific formula. With the improvement of living standards, the demand for wall decoration quality and home comfort is constantly rising. The yellow gypsum-based putty powder is gradually enlarged. Because of its yellow color, the whiteness of wall paint is always unsatisfactory. More and more people begin to pay attention to the water resistance of putty powder, and the water resistance of gypsum-based putty powder is poor. The putty powder with lime-calcium powder as inorganic cementitious material has relatively high whiteness, which meets people's demand for more beautiful wall decoration. The putty powder with lime-calcium base has high strength, good water resistance and long service life. Grey calcium base putty powder is usually scraped on gypsum putty in batches and used as surface putty material. 

Cement-based putty powder is mainly made of cement (white cement) as inorganic gel material, mixed with heavy calcium and lime calcium, and then supplemented with re-dispersible latex powder, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and other additives. Cement-based putty powder has the characteristics of good water resistance, weatherability, high strength and strong adhesion. However, cement-based putty powder is rough and not easy to grind and has poor decorative effect. Generally, cement-based putty powder is used for external walls, while gypsum-based putty powder and lime-calcium-based putty powder are used for internal walls.
