Working principle of automatic batching dry mortar mix plant


Dry powder mortar is also called dry-mixed mortar (pre-mixed mortar). It is a finished dry-mixed mortar produced by a factory-based method with accurate ingredients and uniform mixing. It can be used  by adding water and stirring in the construction site. The production and application of dry-mixed mortar is a new technological revolution in the construction and building materials industry, and it is a major direction for future material development.

There are different slolutions for dry-mix mortar production according to requirements and different markets. Commonly used is the tower  layout, which lifts all the pre-processed raw materials into the raw material silo. The raw materials flow out of the silo by their own gravity, and then packaged into bags, or packed in bulk tanker, or pack in end product silo through computer batching&weighing, screw conveying and mixing to become the final product. All production is operated by a computer control system. The batching accuracy is high, the use is flexible, the closed production system  makes the working site clean and free of dust pollution, ensures workers healthy, modular equipment structure is easy to expand, so that production capacity can be connected with market development.   • Performance characteristics

Traditional mortar is mixed and used on the construction site which requires a certain space, dust will also cause environmental pollution on the site. At the same time, the materials are stacked on the ground in the open state resulting in more impurities, large mud content, inaccurate batching measurement. Workability is difficult to control, and the sieving of aggregates is random, resulting in high porosity of the mortar, large shrinkage rate, poor impermeability, and ultimately leading to hollowing, cracks and penetration in the plastering of external walls. In contrast, all ingredients of dry-mixed mortar are accurately metered in the production workshop and thoroughly mixed evenly, and then mixed with water according to the determined mortar ratio at the construction site, it overcame many problems such as inaccurate metering of ingredients, environmental pollution, and excessive soil content. At the same time, product performance can be improved and optimized by adding different chemical additives such as: Plasticizer, setting agent, consistency, solubility, foaming, lubricity, strength, corrosion resistance, colorfastness, sealing, cracking and impermeability, etc., which can basically meet the requirements of new wall materials.

  • Composition of automatic dry mortar batch mixing plant
