Lurication for motor reducer in twin shaft dry mortar mixer


The reducer is one of the important parts in the dry powder mixer. What are the operating guidelines and precautions for lubrication during working? ANT CONSTRUCTION engineer has some tips:



  • Operation criteria of reducer in dry powder mixer:

  1. The reducer on the dry powder mixer used in a 24-hour continuous working and it allowed to reverse running.

  2. The rotation of the output shaft of the single-stage reducer is opposite to it's input shaft, and the rotation of the output shaft of the double-stage reducer is the same as the rotation of the input shaft.

  3. The reducer has no self-locking function.

  4. The output shaft of the reducer cannot bear axial force.

  5. In occasions where overload may occur, an overload protection device should be installed.

  6. The foot-pull type horizontal cycloidal pinwheel reducer should be installed on a very solid level foundation without vibration. In the  occasions that must be installed obliquely, the inclination of the reducer axis line shall not exceed ±15°.timg (9).jpgtimg (10).jpg

  7. When installing the flange type vertical cycloid reducer, the output shaft is vertically downward.timg (12).jpgtimg (11).jpg

  8. If it is necessary to use other special installation forms except  the foot-panel horizontal installation and flange-type vertical installation, corresponding ear lubrication and sealing measures must be adopted to ensure adequate lubrication of the reducer and prevent oil leakage.   9. The installation angle is free of the cycloid reducer with grease lubrication.

  10. When installing the reducer, it can be adjusted with a cushion block. The height of the whole block does not exceed three pieces, and it can also be adjusted with a wedge iron, but must be replaced with a flat cushion block after calibration.

  11. In the occasion of high impact, vibration or frequent start-up, the base and the foundation need to be reinforced with positioning pins (self-prepared) in addition to low-foot bolts for connection.

  12. The input shaft and output shaft of the standard cycloidal pinwheel reducer are in the form of circular columns and are connected by ordinary flat keys. Shaft diameter tolerance h6. The size of common flat key is in accordance with GB1096-79 "Dimensions of common flat key". The connecting flange spigot is according to GB1801-79 (h9).

  13. When a coupling is used to connect the cycloid pinwheel reducer with the matching machinery, an elastic coupling is recommended.

  14. When the reducer is connected with the matching mechanical coupling, the coaxiality of the two axis lines shall not exceed the allowable range of the coupling.

  15. When the cycloidal pinwheel reducer is connected with the gear and sprocket, the parallelism of the axis of the two must be maintained.

  16. When using a sprocket for transmission, do not loosen the toothed chain too much, otherwise impact will be occur when starting.

  17. When connecting couplings, gears, sprockets and other couplings to the output shaft of the cycloid reducer, direct hammering is forbidden. Bolts should be screwed into the shaft extension end hole and pressed in through the pressure plate.

  18. After installation, the reducer must be tested and run before formal use. Under normal no-load operation, it is gradually loaded and operated.



  • Precautions for lubrication of reducer in dry powder mixer:

  1. The reducer is generally lubricated by an oil tank and cooled naturally. When the working balance temperature of the reducer exceeds 90°C, or the power exceeds the thermal power PG1, it can be lubricated with circulating oil or an oil pool with cooling pipe.

  2. The bearings are generally splash lubricated, and the lubricating oil is the same as the gear oil. The reducer should be lubricated by L-CKC220 and L-CKC320 in the GB/T5903 standard.

  3. When the reducer is continuously stopped for more than 24 hours and then restarted, the gears and bearings should be lubricated normally and run under load.



If you treat the dry powder mixer as a car, the motor is just like the car's engine, then the reducer is the car's tire.
