  1. The physical and mechanical performance index requirements of commercial vitrified microbead insulation perlite mortar

The physical and mechanical properties of vitrified microbead thermal insulation perlite mortar include the operability of the construction process and its strength as a mortar. Considering that the mortar mixture used for the ground surface layer is too dry which not easy to operate; the mixture is too wet which easy to be hollow after hardening, the consistency of the commercial vitrified bead insulation ground perlite mortar should generally be controlled within 30-50mm .


  • Water retention rate

At present, the relevant standards and regulations of vitrified microbead thermal insulation perlite mortar have not stipulated the water retention index for commercial vitrified microbead thermal insulation prerlite mortar. The water retention rate of ready-mixed vitrified microbeads perlite should not be less than 88% in reference to the country and industry features.

  • Setting time

The setting time reflects the longest time for the ready-mixed vitrified microbead thermal insulation prelite mortar to lose its operability in construction.
