Main classifications& technical parameters of gypsum plaster
Plaster is a building material used for the protective or decorative coating of walls and ceilings and for moulding and casting decorative elements. In English, "plaster" usually means a material used for the interiors of buildings, while "render" commonly refers to external applications. Another imprecise term used for the material is stucco, which is also often used for plasterwork that is worked in some way to produce relief decoration, rather than flat surfaces.
Main lassifications of gypsum plaster:
According to the application, it is divided into surface gypsum plaster (F), bottom gypsum plaster (B) and insulation gypsum plaster (T). Among them: the surface gypsum plaster (F) usually does not contain aggregates, and is used for plastering gypsum or the face layer of plastering materials on other substrates; the bottom gypsum plaster (B) usually contains aggregates for base leveling; the thermal insulation layer gypsum plaster has good thermal insulation, usually contains light aggregates, and the volume density of hardened body is not more than 500kg/m³.
