What is stone texture paint?
Stone texture paint is a kind of very thick architectural external wall coatings which is made of synthetic resin emulsion, color sand particles in different grain and a variety of additives, production process is different from general architectural coatings.
The construction method of stone texture paint is spraying which mainly use air pumps and spray guns as tools. The base paint primer and face coating can be sprayed or roller coated.
Stone texture painting construction techniques
Clean the base surface: process the unevenness, edges and corners of the base layer and clean up floating dust.
Scrape putty: According to the flatness of the base surface, scrape the special stone texture paint waterproof putty once or twice. The flatness difference range within 4mm.
Apply the base paint primer: Use a roller or spray gun to apply the primer evenly, the purpose is for waterproof and anti alkal and color the seams.
Paste the grid and seam paper: measure, mark and paste the part of the grid with masking paper according to the division method required by the design
Use a spray gun to spray the main material of stone texture paint, adjust the air output of the spray gun according to the size of the pattern required by the design and the strength of the undulation. The spraying times are also adjusted according to the color, spraying 1-3 times.
Remove the textured paper.
Applying transparent topcoat: roll or spray transparent protective topcoat 1-2 times to improve the self-cleaning performance of the stone texture paint.

Precautions issues of stone texture paint construction
The base paint primer is the color of the seam, with weather resistance, construction temperature: above 5℃.
The construction of each process needs to be carried out after the previous process has been dried. The drying time of each brand product is slightly different.
The unused paint should be sealed and stored in a place without direct sunlight. The construction tools should be cleaned in time after being used up
